Hexagon Socket Set Screws with Dog Point are made as per DIN 915 standard. Dog point set screws are a type of socket set screw that comes in two-point styles: full dog point and half dog point. Both are characterized by their protruding tip and are designed to lock inside a machined hole or slot, or flat against a shaft as a permanent setting. Half dog point set screws have a shorter tip compared to their full dog counterpart to work in applications with limited clearance.
